Did you know that the brain is the largest sex organ in the human body, shaping both physical and emotional experiences? In ancient India, the study of sex and the mind was regarded as a science, with texts like the Kamasutra and practices like Yoga exploring the deep connection between body, mind, and spirit. These traditions recognized sex and mental wellness as essential to a balanced life—a perspective echoed today by the World Health Organization (WHO). Understanding the emotional dimension of sex is also foundational to relational intelligence, a key skill in modern workplaces that enhances communication, empathy, and interpersonal connections.

WHERE THINGS
STAND TODAY

There is no sex education or emotional awareness training-- even for doctors in the Indian medical curricula. You will be shocked to know where medical students get their sexual knowledge from.

WHERE THINGS WILL BE IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS?

As AI automation reduces the demand for many technical roles—including doctors, teachers, and engineers—employers will increasingly value human-centric skills such as emotional and relational intelligence, empathy, critical thinking, and curiosity. Corporate training under the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace) reflects this shift by emphasizing the importance of emotional regulation and interpersonal competence.

ADDING CONTEXT TO COMPLIANCE

Corporate training under the POSH Act is often seen as a box-ticking exercise focused on compliance rather than context. At Vvox, we believe that by nurturing emotional awareness, empathy, and a deeper understanding of policy intent, compliance evolves into a purposeful and engaging process that creates a more respectful and inclusive workplace.

JAB I MET A QUACK !

Every year, countless individuals in India undergo unnecessary treatments—including surgeries—for non-medical sexual concerns. These procedures often damage relationships and raise serious questions about patient rights and medical accountability. If you have experienced this, please share your story with us. We are here to amplify your voice and advocate for greater awareness and accountability.

“HE SAID I WILL DIE IF I
MASTURBATE TOO MUCH”

“While in school, I had a lot of anxiety over masturbation. My friends told me if I jerk off too much will I go bald or even blind. At one point I even went to a local doctor for help. He told me that my body will become very weak and I will die, if I don’t stop it immediately. I was a total wreck for a few days. Only much later in life, I learned that masturbation is totally normal and healthy.”

“I WAS TOLD TO DRINK
WINE BEFORE SEX”

“I used to experience a lot of pain during sex, which made penetration impossible. My partner thought I was deliberately avoiding him. Then I went to see a gynae who told me to drink a couple
of glasses of wine. She said it will help me relax in bed. But things went from bad to worse as alcohol reduces vaginal lubrication. I don’t know from where these doctors get such ‘brilliant’ ideas.”

“HE PROMISED TO TURN ME STRAIGHT IN SIX MONTHS”

“When I came out to my family there was a lot of pressure on me to change my sexual orientation. The biggest concern for my mother was that I will never get a good alliance. So they took me to a doctor who promised to 'cure' my homosexuality in six months. He put me on hormone replacement therapy. Two months later, I tried to kill myself. I no longer stay with my family. I don’t want to get married and ruin the life of a woman.”

“I WAS DIAGNOSED
AS A HOMOSEXUAL”

“I once went to see a ‘top’ sexologist after going through a sexless marriage for three years. Initially, I had blamed my wife for the sexual difficulty. So she underwent a surgery. But there was no improvement in our situation. So it was my turn. The ‘top’ sexologist ran a few tests on me and declared that I am a homosexual, which I never was. I was always attracted to women. But he insisted that he discovered a gay gene in my body. My wife used that diagnosis to file for divorce.”
